I guess I'm to blame for Sandeep of Sequoia getting the first slot. Sandeep had not registered and we didn't allow him to enter. But quite a few folks wanted to hear on what they would invest in. So we allowed him in if he spoke (speakers get preference as per the rules on wiki). All slots were taken by that time (9.30 AM) and we still had an hour to go before the start. So I took the call of giving him a 10 AM slot. Driven by the demand from the folks who had registered and not demand from Sandeep.
